Infiltrating your senses with his unique blend of Reggae, Dancehall and signature ‘raspy’ voice, Agent Sasco, a master Jamaican artiste, formerly known as Assassin for his quick-wit lyrics and sharp shooter delivery, is set to release his highly anticipated fourth studio album Hope River through Diamond Studios in Summer 2018.
Growing up in Kintyre, St. Andrew, (Jamaica) with his mother, Jeffrey Campbell had a surprisingly humble yet grounded start in life. It wasn’t until 2000 when International Reggae Artist Spragga Benz recorded a song he penned that Sasco received his first big break. This was the beginning of a long list of collaborations for Sasco that branched into three studio albums and over 350 singles.
Collaborating with Grammy Award-winning artists Kanye West (“I’m In It”, Yeezus, 2013) and Kendrick Lamar, (“The Blacker The Berry” 2015), as well as Dancehall and Reggae legends like Shaggy, Bounty Killer, Buju Banton, Josie Wales, Richie Stephens, Freddie McGregor, Marcia Griffiths and Beres Hammond, to name a few, Sasco is always evolving to keep his sound fresh. Sasco has also left his unique mark on the world of hip-hop, lending his talents to Jerry Wonda, Raekwon, and Melanie Fiona for “Soundboy Kill It”, Kardinal Offishall for “Pretty Paper”, and Lil Jon for “Turn Down for What Remix”. Adding to his ever-diversifying portfolio, Sasco was featured on “Mutant Brain”, an original song created for the launch of the KENZO world ad campaign by French luxury brand Kenzo parafums in 2016. The video for this song was directed by Academy Award Winner Spike Jonze. Gaining momentum in 2017, Sasco worked on the soundtrack for Paramount Studio’s hit, Baywatch.
